It started with a family and a farm
Kelvin Melgar and Johanny Amaya grew up surrounded by a family of coffee growers in Honduras. Coffee wasn't a product — it was the rhythm of life. Mornings started with the smell of fresh coffee.

They built lives in Colorado, but something was missing. The coffee didn't taste like home. The connection to the land, the farmer, the craft — replaced by mass production and anonymous blends.
